Its been raining

We finally made it to Hanoi. The 14 1/2 hour flight from LA to Tapei was almost unbearable. Four movies, several hands of cards and a few catnaps did nothing to make the time pass any faster. We are both exhausted and cannot wait to go to sleep tonight. The cultural changes are more than Laurie and I expected, but find much of it fasinating. Traffic is really something that can only be appreciated in person. The number of passengers, crates of goods and animals and children lying between passengers, head out one side, feet out the other, makes the randomness of traffic laws only more risky.

Hey guys,

So glad you made it and I know that 14 hr flight must have been hell. It must be AWESOME knowing that tomorrow is the BIG DAY. We can't wait for more photos. If Laurie's parents and the boys are reading these, don't forget to CALL US if you need anything while Laur & Darrin are away!! Be safe and get home with her soon.

Love,
