We wanted to start our blog by introducing our family to many of the other families out there that follow each others blogs.

Laurie and I have 3 boys Logan 10, Reid 8, and Grant 5. We live in a tourist town called Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin, once mainly known for its natural beauty. It is now home to many of the largest waterpark resorts and is called the waterpark capital of the world.

We decided to attend an adoption meeting in January of 2006 after many long discussions on adding a little sister to our family.

We began our journey with a ton of paperwork and finally got our dossier to China in May of 2006 and began to wait.

One year later our case worker contacted us and told us how slowly the China program had been moving, and further delays were expected. We decided to add Vietnam to our program and by September 2007 we had our dossier to Vietnam.

Finally on July 4th 2008 we got our referral.
