MORE PICTURES
We got all these awesome photos from Maria, who traveled to the orphanage with 4 other families to pick up her son. Her family was able to take a little time to get some great shots of the other children waiting to be adopted.
Maia has her finger and toenails painted. Another PAP friend Shula said her daughter Nam had her nails done when she was picked up and still likes it and even waives her hands to dry them at 15 months old. Jenna, from Milwaukee said they included nail polish in the nanny gifts and thinks the nannys are using it on the little girls in our group. Day 22 of our I600 wait. Lets go USCIS.

HUNGRY LITTLE LADY
We got this photo emailed today from Maria Cina. She had a incredible adventure picking up her little boy Wyn from Ba Vi Monday.
Maia is looking so old already and ready to tear into some toddler food.
We are just waiting for travel approval, when it comes we will go to Vietnam about 3 weeks later to get her. We have been so lucky to have other families traveling to Ba Vi to give us new pictures. No one will travel now until some new travel approvals are given. Only 7 Babies are left at Ba Vi for Plan families. After that there will be no more children adopted to the US unless the US and Vietnam reach a new unilateral agreement.

this little video from Jenna was really cool to see. My boys laughed and laughed at their new little sister dropping to her bottom on the video. What a happy little face, I felt so lucky.
Then one better came along, Judy forwarded this to me
I could not believe it, I have this looped at work and have watched it a thousand times.

This was one of the first photos we found of little Maia. Our referral came on July 4th, almost 10 months after we were logged in Vietnam. It was taken the first week of June by Beth who worked with plan in Vietnam. It was so awesome to see her bright little face, but a little sad to know we had missed so much of her life already and she was already standing.
I was also able to find these photos taken a week later by Jenna when she was in Vietnam picking up Ella. It was a little hard to find her in the photos, but a little video clip she had made it easier.
